About the Journal

Islamic Economics Journal (P-ISSN 2460-1896, E-ISSN: 2541-5573) is an international journal providing authoritative sources of scientific information for researchers and scholars in academia, research institutions, government agencies, and industries. Published semi-annually (June and December) by Department of Islamic Economics, Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Darussalam Gontor. Islamic Economics Journal collaborates with the National Committee for Islamic Economics and Finance (KNEKS), ADESy, and the Association of Indonesian Islamic Economics Study Programs (APSEII). Editors accept scientific articles and results of research in accordance with contemporary Islamic economics issues in main big five areas: Islamic Public Economics, Islamic Monetary Economics, Islamic Business Economics, Islamic International Economics, and Islamic Development Economics.
Islamic Economics Journal has been indexed by DOAJ, SINTA, GARUDA, Google Scholar, and also has been cited 32 times in the Scopus article. Islamic Economics Journal has been indexed by SINTA 3 legitimated by the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Number: 152/E/KPT/2023, from Vol. 8, No. 2, 2022 until Vol. 13, No. 1, 2027). Peer Review Process
Articles submitted to the Islamic Economics Journal will be reviewed by a minimum of 2 reviewers. The acceptence decision or whether of manuscript is determined by the Chairman of the editor based on the comments from reviewers. The acceptence decision is accepted or whether a script specified of the Council of the editorial Board. An examination of the possibility of plagiasi elements is done with the help of Google Scholar
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Article Processing Charges
